STORYLINE:
Minneapolis residents welcomed Spring with a battletrain, puppets and dancers.
Organizers say the city’s Mayday Parade has been an annual celebration of art and community for 50 years.
The parade wound its way through several neighborhoods on the city’s south side before ending at Powderhorn Park.
The parade was followed by a Tree of Life Ceremony, where dancers and puppets celebrate the sun and the return of the tree of life
