Israel says it will ease its blockade of Gaza and allow limited amounts of food and medicine into the territory. A UN official reports 20 aid trucks carrying mostly food are expected to cross into Gaza today, more than two months after Israel broke a ceasefire and instituted a full blockade. International pressure has increased in recent days over the lack of humanitarian aid, as well as the killing of hundreds of Palestinians in Israel’s latest military offensive.
