1. SOUNDBITE (English) Jeremy Allen White, actor, on playing Bruce Springsteen in ‘Deliver Me from Nowhere":
"I don’t know, you know, it’s about a very specific time in Bruce’s life. It’s the period in which he just kind of finished The River tour and he’s locked up in ‘Colts Neck,’ and he’s writing ‘Nebraska.’ So it’s him by himself there for a lot of the time. It’s about the writing process and the creative process. We finished it in January. Bruce was there a lot at the time, Jon Landau his manager was there lot of time. And they seem happy, and that makes me happy."
Reporter: "Were you a fan of that period, or did you have to research it?"
White: "You know, I think everybody knows who Bruce is, and I was a fan of Bruce’s, but yeah, that was certainly, and I’d heard ‘Nebraska,’ but it was certainly something that, yes, (at) the top of my Spotify wrap list last year."
