STORYLINE:
Dominik Moll premiered his latest crime drama "Dossier 137" at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday.
Stars Léa Drucker, Yoann Blanc and Guslagie Malanda joined him on the red carpet.
The film, one of the 21 in competition for the Palme D’Or, follows an Internal Affairs investigator played by Drucker who is tasked with determining what happened when a young man is injured during the yellow vests protests.
While she finds no evidence of illegitimate police violence, the case takes a personal turn when she discovers the victim is from her hometown.
Moll, who also wrote the film, was previously in competition on the Croisette with "Lemming" in 2005 and "Harry, He’s Here to Help" in 2000.
The festival runs from 13-24 May.
