"Well it’s just I’ve been supporting them. Meryl Streep actually first told me about the organization and she said would you like to be involved too and I said absolutely. So for years now and just giving the opportunities to women, especially as they get older, to write. They have incredible stories and a lot of times there’s not the opportunity to tell them or to be mentored and that’s what The Writers Lab does."

"Well, I’m definitely on the receiving end of it, where I’m in a position where I am able to produce, I’m able to make decisions and choices, I am also able to choose to put women at the helm.
