Harvard University is suing the Trump administration, claiming its decision to revoke the school’s ability to enroll international students violates the First Amendment, the Due Process Clause, and the Administrative Procedure Act.
The Trump administration said Thursday that Harvard lost access to the Student and Exchange Visitor Program, which permits noncitizens to study in the U.S. under a specific visa, after the university failed to comply with a demand last month for information on student visa holders.
