STORYLINE:
The Supreme Court sided with President Donald Trump and allowed on Monday to strip legal protections from 350,000 Venezuelans, exposing them to a potential deportation.
Wilmer Escaray is now facing a lack of direction. He does not know for how long his employees can be legally authorized to work or if he will be able to help them in any way, he said.
What he knows is that at least 70% of his 150 employees are Venezuelans who hold a Temporary Protected Status, also known as TPS, as well as many of his clients.
Escaray owns 15 restaurants and three markets, most of them located in Doral, the largest Venezuelan community in the United States.
The city is coming to grips with the Supreme Court decision clearing the way for the Trump administration to immediately end deportation protections for Venezuelans.
