"It was so fun to get to work with Guy Ritchie on a movie like this. He really has such a knack for that witty dialog and the fast, incredible action sequences. And his team has been with him forever, which I think is a testament to how well he treats people that everyone really stays with him. And they’re just like a well-oiled machine. So everyone really knows what they’re doing and you know you’re in good hands and you can just have fun. And we did have so much fun. "

"Well, this movie was an absolute blast. was the easiest yes I’ve ever said. I would have done anything for Guy Ritchie and to find out that he wanted me to be a lead in a movie with Natalie Portman. Easiest yes. And then to travel around the world and get to shoot all this practically, it was just a blast. He’s the absolute greatest. I loved the script and the team’s been amazing. This cast was just, it was all, this is one of the best experiences I’ve every had."

"I mean, I think the biggest thing that I take from being a director and writer is how much goes into every single shot. So you’re really well aware of the entirety of the set from every single person who’s working hard to get these shots. And I think when you’re aware of that, then you just take everything a little bit more seriously as far as you’re never late and you know to give it your all because everybody’s there and they’ve got one shot at making it great."

"I think that when we think of a fountain of youth, we often think of the kind of cosmetic, superficial version of it, that we want to kind of look young forever. But I think there’s something more about finding that kernel of what gave you wonder in the world and what gave excitement and what lit you up as a child and finding that for the rest of your life."

STORYLINE:
John Krasinski and Natalie Portman brought the “Fountain of Youth” to New York on Monday for the film’s world premiere.
In the film, the pair partner on a global heist to look for the mythological place.
Krasinski said when he was asked by director Guy Ritchie to be in the film, it was an "easy yes".
"I would have done anything for Guy Ritchie and to find out that he wanted me to be a lead in a movie with Natalie Portman. Easiest yes. And then to travel around the world and get to shoot all this practically, it was just a blast," Krasinski told the Associated Press.
Portman also credited Richie.
“Fountain of You” begins streaming Friday on Apple Plus.
