And personally I will try to prepare the game exactly in the same way I prepare all the rest, because I consider every game important. For sure it’s a final, that at the end decides the title, but we’re going to try to prepare the game in our best and hopefully we can win the title."

STORYLINE:
On Tuesday, Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca sat down in front of the press on the media day ahead of next week’s Europa Conference League final against Real Betis in Wrocław, Poland.

During media day press conference Maresca opened up about his mentor Real Betis’ head coach Manuel Pellegrini calling him his ‘Professional Dad’, ahead of facing him in the Europa Conference League final next week.

Maresca also has expressed his unhappiness at his team getting two fewer days to prepare for the Conference League final compared to Spanish opponent Real Betis.

While Betis plays its final La Liga match on Friday against Valencia, Chelsea closes its Premier League campaign on Sunday – three days before the Conference League final in Wroclaw, Poland – against Nottingham Forest.

So Maresca has another idea.
