"The main target is to win another European competition" said Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca on Tuesday as he gets his side ready for their upcoming UEFA Conference League final against Real Betis.
Chelsea have won it all in European competition but their boss Maresca is hoping to bring another piece of silverware back to Stamford Bridge as he looks to rebuild the squad.
"I think it’s something important for the club in this moment for the fans, for everyone. Because it means that we are going in the right direction" said Maresca.
Chelsea closes their Premier League campaign on Sunday – three days before the Conference League final in Wroclaw, Poland – against Nottingham Forest.
It’s a huge game for Chelsea, too, with Champions League qualification on the line for both teams at the City Ground.
