STORYLINE:
Paul Mescal and filmmaker Oliver Hermanus were all smiles as they departed the premiere of “The History of Sound” at Cannes on Wednesday.
The film is in competition for the festival’s top prize and also stars Josh O’Connor.
O’Connor wasn’t present for the premiere.
