"Well I think for a lot of people they are diagnosed and then they know kind of the path of what’s going through. For me, I had melanoma on my back and then I thought I was done and then all of a sudden I was working at the Super Bowl and I felt really sick and when I got home I went to the hospital and that’s when they found, I think it was eight plum size melanoma brain tumors in my brain, and then I also had two tumors in my lungs. So it was a complete shock to all of us. I had kind of always thought that melanoma remained on your skin. And I was like, ‘Oh, I’ve had 16 surgeries there, I get checks every three months, I’m good to go.’ So I think the surprise element really added to it. So, I didn’t want anybody else to be surprised. I’d had headaches for months. And I’m so glad that like finally I trusted my instincts because forever I was like… ‘It’s just a headache, I’ll get through it. I heard that people get migraines as they get older, maybe that’s what’s going on with me.’"
