STORYLINE:
Josh O’Connor returned to the red carpet at the 78th Cannes Film Festival on Friday night for the premiere of his second feature in its competition line-up, Kelly Reichardt’s “The Mastermind.”
The movie, an art heist set during the Vietnam War, co-stars Alana Haim and John Magaro.
O’Connor also stars in Oliver Hermanus’ Palme-nominated WWI drama “The History of Sound,” co-starring Paul Mescal.
Writer-director Reichardt returns to the Croisette three years after her 2022 film "Showing Up" was nominated for the festival’s top prize.
The Cannes Film Festival runs through May 24.
