One mom feels incredibly lucky. Her toddler daughter is alive after getting bitten by a deadly rattlesnake twice in the backyard of their home in Florence, Arizona. Mom Jacquelyn Reed knew she had to race Cara to the nearest ER. Reed, a pediatric nurse, says her professional experience helped her remain calm. In total, Cara had to receive 20 vials of antivenom. The 15-month-old also had to be placed on a ventilator. Now, she’s making great strides in her recovery.
