Germany’s Chancellor Friedrich Merz has announced what he’s calling ‘a new form of military-industrial cooperation’ with Ukraine. Merz says Germany will help Kyiv develop its own long-range missile systems that would be free of any Western-imposed limitations or restrictions. The Chancellor made the statement during a visit by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Berlin on Wednesday.
