How unstable are glaciers in the Swiss Alps? | DW News

In the Swiss Alps, at least one person is missing after a glacier collapsed, burying most of the village of Blatten. Experts had been monitoring the situation for weeks, as chunks broke off the side of the mountain, piling up on the glacier below. Nine million tons of debris was eventually too much. We spoke to climate policy specialist Henna Hundal in Stanford, California.
