Israel has intensified its offensive in Gaza. Airstrikes hit a family home in the Al-Bureij refugee camp, which the Israeli military says was a "Hamas cell". Gaza’s Health Ministry says 23 people were killed in the strike, most of whom were women and children. The Strip’s civil defence agency put today’s total death toll at more than 50. Israel’s military has not commented on the attacks, saying it only targets militants and not civilians. Meanwhile, the White House says that Israel has accepted US President Donald Trump’s proposal for a Gaza ceasefire. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said discussions were currently "continuing" with Hamas. Middle East analyst Aaron David Miller from the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace gave us some details of the ceasefire proposal.
