Officials in Nigeria say at least 111 people are confirmed dead after torrential rains triggered floods in the central west.Authorities say the death toll is expected to rise, with rescue teams racing to reach those still in danger. Many people remain missing. The flooding, made worse by a dam collapse, has crippled a key trading hub. Nigeria’s rainy season is just getting underway and usually lasts six months.
