Eileen Weresch-Doornink shares the story of why her teenage son, Frederick Marion Weresch, AKA Fritz, chose to have his body composted after his sudden death. She said the family had spoken about terramation, the process of returning loved ones to the earth as nutrient-rich soil, when it became legal in Washington state. Shortly after, Frederick became ill and died unexpectedly. Eileen shared Fritz’s story with Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall.
