JACKSON REVIVES RED ARMY FOR HIS LATEST VIDEO

Michael Jackson led mock Red Army troops past a cheering crowd as
filming began on the video for the pop star’s new album.
Details of the script were a closely guarded secret, but the film
was thought to depict Jackson as a freedom fighter who liberates
a communist country from Red Army troops.
Filming took place in front of an ornate castle in Budapest. The
castle courtyard was decorated with enormous red flags and banners
displaying a picture of Jackson posing with guns.
Extras were dressed for the shoot in uniforms borrowed from the
Hungarian army. The banned Red Star had been reattached for the
filming. Jackson did not sing or dance. The star spent most of the time
being shielded from the scorching sun by a crew member holding a
large pink umbrella. Jackson’s new bride, Lisa Marie Presley, was
also present during the filming.
