Ukraine has carried out coordinated drone attacks at several military airbases deep inside Russia in a plot that Kyiv says took months of secrete planning. Some of the airbases are located in Russia’s eastern Siberia region far from the frontlines of the war. Ukraine’s security service says the drones hit at least 40 aircraft and caused billions of euros worth of damage. The attacks come ahead of Monday’s prospective ceasefire talks in Istanbul.
