(6 Dec 1994) The 52 heads of state and government at the Conference on Security
and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE) Tuesday adopted a final
declaration to rename the group, the Organisation for Security and
Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). But they failed to reach agreement
on how to deal with the 32-month-old Bosnian conflict, an issue
which has dominated the two-day summit here. The Bosnian
ambassador to the CSCE Mahir Hadziametovic accused the world of
betraying Bosnia.
