Ukrainian drones have reportedly hit key Russian air bases, targeting TU-22 and TU-95 strategic bombers—aircraft central to Russia’s cruise missile operations. While Ukraine claims up to 40 bombers were destroyed, Russian sources say the number is much lower. Independent experts estimate around 13 aircraft may have been damaged or destroyed.
