(Reporter: "How do you hope that journalists and artists can kind of work together to continue to create conversation and social change in our society?")
"That is such an important question because I think journalism has a mission to educate, illuminate, elevate, inspire people and to let the audiences better understand the world around us. And we have to find new platforms as our audiences change, as generations and habits change. We have to reach people where they are. And that’s what I think we’re doing at NBC News. And we’re doing that at the Associated Press. In all of our media, finding new ways to reach people and bring them accurate, important information, relevant information, make it both entertaining, interesting, and educational, all at the same time. And it’s just very exciting."

"You know, unfortunately I think that we’re in a time where people are giving into fear when it comes to what projects are being greenlit. And how people are being cast in things and so it’s really up to everybody who has any kind of power in our industry to be fearless and be courageous in continuing to give opportunities to people like me because I have not been cast a major role since ‘Baby Reindeer,’ so it is in some It’s always really complicated to be celebrating and to be uplifted in this way and also not have any opportunities really come my way that I feel are actually right for me. So it would be really another gift for the next thing to come that feels as special as ‘Baby Reindeer’ would do."
