"With the Switch 2, Nintendo is not reinventing the wheel. They do have the reputation of doing that in the past, but with the Switch 2, it’s very much what the consumers, the gamers wanted, which was Switch 1, but more powerful."

"With the latest Nintendo Switch, it’s going to be using a new Nvidia chip, which will be utilising not only the improvements in how chipsets operate, but also will use AI to improve the quality of graphics cards, make chips more efficient. It means obviously better visuals, better performance, better battery life and so on."

"Nintendo, like all other companies, are exposed to the uncertainties around tariffs and other geopolitical things happening in the world. And arguably Nintendo is right now more exposed than, let’s say, Sony PlayStation or Xbox, just because Nintendo is launching a console now."

"Nintendo has been very clever and since 2019 has made big steps to diversify its supply chain and its manufacturing beyond China. So it’s got manufacturing now in Vietnam, in Cambodia, and the idea has been to, as I mentioned, kind of protect themselves from these uncertainties that can affect one particular country."

"I think there is some disappointment in terms of the initial line up of games. Switch 1’s initial line up was incredible, you know, that included games like Zelda Breath of the Wild, which is, of course, arguably one of the best games ever. So of course we do have new games like the new Mario Kart, but I think there is that feeling that this initial line up isn’t as strong with what Nintendo delivered with the Switch."
