"We will enhance cooperation activities, namely the Morotai training area in Maluku Province for air force joint training exercises between Indonesia and Australia, and we will also use this area for naval cooperation."

STORYLINE:
Australia’s Defense Minister Richard Marles was in Jakarta to meet with with Indonesia’s Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin on Thursday.
During their meeting, Marles presented Sjamsoeddin with the gift of an Australian military hat, placing it on his head as they posed for photographs in front of media.
After the meeting, Sjamsoeddin said Indonesia and Austrlia will work together to "enhance cooperative activities," as well as naval cooperation.
