"The hypothetical scenario was a general and vague one, without indicating any country or countries. NATO and American forces always work with such scenarios, so we simply integrated them, some hypothetical forces of irrelevant nationality, but integrated into the vicinity of the region, so there were defenders and attackers. With the help of the American forces, we also used simulation systems that made the whole training much more realistic."

STORYLINE:
One of the largest U.S.-led military exercises in Europe this year—Immediate Response 25—showed off its skills during a demonstration in northern Greece on Wednesday.
Bringing together 12,000 troops from eight NATO countries, including the U.S., Greece, France, Bulgaria, Spain, and North Macedonia, the exercises are aimed at strengthening joint readiness and NATO interoperability.

In addition to Greece, the exercise is taking place in multiple Balkan countries from May 26 to June 9.
