STORYLINE:
President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that citizens of 12 countries would be banned from visiting the U.S. and seven others would face restrictions.
The ban goes into effect Monday at 12:01a.m and includes some countries on the previous ban from 2017 and a few new additions from Africa, including Somalia, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Libya, Sudan and Yemen.

"This ban has particularly affected my family since we won the lottery," he added. "Somalis are good people; we are not bad as he believes."
Bile Mohamud Abdi, a travel agent at Royal Som Tour and Travel in Mogadishu, sees this as a heavy blow to his business and the Somali community.
The U.S. is home to a large Somali diaspora and has been a reliable destination for travelers.
"We usually sell tickets for people traveling to the U.S., but many of our customers were absent today," he lamented.
"I believe this is due to the ban’s effects. There are even customers who have visas but are still affected by the ban," he added.
Somalis in the diaspora in Kenya also reacted to the news in the Eastleigh neighborhood of Nairobi, which is home to a large Somali population in the Kenyan capital.
“What Trump said is not a good thing," says Sharmake Adan, a Somali national in Nairobi.
