A news photographer was hit by a projectile while covering the riots in Los Angeles. Inside Edition’s Les Trent spoke with freelancer Nick Stern from his hospital bed following surgery on his injured leg. Stern says the projectile was three inches long and about an inch in diameter. There is also growing outrage over the moment when an Australian TV reporter was hit by a rubber bullet. And, CNN’s Jason Carroll found himself being detained by cops live on air. He was released shortly afterwards.
