"I’m hoping that the audiences who have a chance to see the documentary will be able to leave with a better understanding of what we went through when we were deaf children. Not that everything was bad but we need to make a change We need to help deaf people have better lives by creating greater access to be able to create environments that communication can occur freely just like anywhere like you as people who are here I think just have greater empathy for what we go through and pass that message along to others to say, ‘look we have a completely different perspective as people who are deaf and through captions you can understand this.’ You know, this film is not sound-based It’s two deaf women communicating and that can give you a better understanding of what we go through."
