Las nuevas prohibiciones que impuso el presidente Donald Trump para viajar a Estados Unidos desde 12 países entraron en vigor el lunes. La nueva proclama que firmó Trump la semana pasada también impone restricciones más estrictas a personas que se encuentren fuera de Estados Unidos y no cuenten con una visa válida procedentes de siete países que incluyen a Venezuela.
El nuevo veto no revoca las visas emitidas previamente a personas de los países en la lista, según la guía que se emitió el viernes a todas las misiones diplomáticas de Estados Unidos. Sin embargo, a menos que un solicitante cumpla con criterios específicos para una exención, su solicitud será rechazada a partir del lunes.
