World leaders including US President Donald Trump have arrived in Canada for the G7 summit. Trump landed in the western province of Alberta, where the heads of leading industrialized nations will hold their annual meeting. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz arrived earlier, and met with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. Global security is set to dominate the agenda – with three days of discussions on the conflict between Israel and Iran, the war in Ukraine, and a shaky global economy.
