French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday said it was "entirely positive" that President Donald Trump was to leave the Group of Seven summit a day early, as efforts to de-escalate the conflict between Israel and Iran continued. The U.S. said Trump planned to skip a series of Tuesday meetings that would address the ongoing war in Ukraine and global trade issues.
