Vance Boelter, 57, has been charged with the murder of Minnesota State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, and the attempted murder of State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette. The attempt to assassinate the Hoffmans was caught on surveillance video. A federal prosecutor said the suspect banged on the door, claiming to be a police officer, and shined a bright flashlight on them. Senator Hoffman opened the door.
