President Donald Trump criticized Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell as he spoke with reporters outside the White House on Wednesday morning.
"We have a stupid person, frankly, at the Fed. He probably won’t cut today," Trump said.
Later, Trump said of Powell: "He’s a political guy who’s not a smart person. But he’s costing the country a fortune."
