STORYLINE:
Air raid sirens sounded in Tel Aviv and across Israel late Sunday, sending residents to seek shelter as Iranian missiles were launched towards the country.
Israel and Iran have traded missile strikes for a third straight day.
Israel on Sunday hit targets in Tehran including the Defense Ministry and sites it claims are tied to Iran’s nuclear program.
Iranian missiles have broken through Israeli defenses, striking buildings deep inside the country.
President Donald Trump said the U.S. had “nothing to do with the attack on Iran” and warned Tehran to expect “the full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces” if it retaliates against the U.S.
The death toll in Israel rose to 13 while a human rights group said Israeli strikes in Iran have killed at least 406 people and wounded 654.
Iran’s government has not offered overall casualty figures.
