STORYLINE:
Palestinians in Gaza struggle to get not just food and supplies, but also water.

Children and adults wait, sometimes for hours, out in the hot sun, to fill a bucket or a couple of bottles with clean water.

"We are running after water just to drink," said Youssra Youssef, a local resident. "We run to the charity kitchen just to eat and get a bit of soup. Bread is missing, all vegetables, all kinds of food are missing."

She added: "We’re just living as walking corpses."

There’s not enough water for the large numbers living in the camp.

Mohammad Hassouna, a resident of Gaza, said that he stood for about an hour waiting for his turn to fill a few bottles of water only to be left with nothing.

“There isn’t enough water," he said. "They really need to increase the amount for the people."

Israel has blocked the entry of supplies and aid to the territory for almost three months, only now allowing in a small amount for the more than 2 million people living in the Gaza Strip.

Humanitarian organizations say it is too little.
