The U.S. should abandon its domineering attitude, stop politicizing economic, trade, and technological issues, stop interfering in other countries’ internal affairs and undermining their sovereignty and independence, and stop coercing countries into taking sides or restricting dialogue and cooperation. Instead, it should focus more on promoting regional peace, stability, and prosperity.”

STORYLINE:
China said Monday it was “deeply concerned” over Israel’s recent attack on Iran, calling on parties involved to “take immediate steps to de-escalate tensions and prevent the region from descending into greater turmoil.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Guo Jiakun, added that "any international dispute should be resolved through dialogue and consultation."
Separately, Guo accused the U.S. of “interfering in other countries’ internal affairs”.
Guo was responding to a statement issued by the U.S. Embassy in Panama last Wednesday, which revealed the U.S. plans to replace Chinese company Huawei’s telecommunications equipment installed at 13 sites across Panama with secure American technology.
