Security tightened as G7 kicks off in Canadian Rocky Mountains

STORYLINE:
Security was on high alert as the Group of Seven summit kicked off in earnest on Monday in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

The G7 leaders are meeting in a remote mountain resort. The only road leading from the highway is blocked by law enforcement. Security personnel in vehicles can been seen around the area.

A demonstration is expected in nearby Banff at a designated location, though visible police presence was limited on Monday morning.
