The US has used military might to join Israel’s war on Iran. US President Donald Trump claimed that American Air force bombers destroyed Tehran’s key nuclear sites, including the Natanz, Isfahan and Fordo facilities. The strikes followed days of speculation over whether the US would enter the conflict. Iran responded by firing missiles at Israel, some of which caused damage. In his Saturday night address, Trump also threatened more strikes on Iran if Tehran retaliates against the US. DW’s Shani Rozanes provides analysis in the studio
