STORYLINE:
More Iranian missiles were intercepted over Tel Aviv early on Wednesday as the Iran-Israel conflict continued to escalate.
Not long after the latest barrage, the Israeli army said it was conducting a "series of strikes" in the Tehran area.
Israel says its sweeping assault in Iran is necessary to prevent its adversary from getting any closer to building an atomic weapon.
Since it began its campaign on Friday, Israeli strikes have killed at least 224 people in Iran.
Iran has retaliated by launching some 400 missiles and hundreds of drones at Israel.
At least 24 people have been killed in Israel.
