STORYLINE:
More Iranian missiles were seen being intercepted in the skies over the Jordanian capital, Amman, early on Wednesday.
The activity came as Iran fired another barrage of missiles at Israel as the countries’ deadly standoff continued.
Jordan has said it will intercept any missiles and drones that enter its airspace, for fear they will fall in its territory.
Uncertainty continues to roil the region as Israel continues its air campaign aimed at Iran’s military and nuclear program.
Israel says its sweeping assault is necessary to prevent its adversary from getting any closer to building an atomic weapon.
The strikes have killed at least 224 people in Iran.
Iran has retaliated by launching some 400 missiles and hundreds of drones at Israel.
At least 24 people have been killed in Israel.
