STORYLINE:
Dozens of protester staged a demonstration in Kuala Lumpur, on Friday, against the United States’ support for Israel during the war against Hamas in Gaza and its attacks on Iran.
Marching to the U.S. Embassy, after Friday afternoon prayers, they carried flags and posters calling for Netanyahu’s arrest and for freeing Palestine and the end of Israeli occupation.
“Whether this becomes World War III or not depends on America’s reaction. Although America says it won’t join the war, we can see there are some sort of efforts (to help Israel) and there’s some sort of conspiracy going on,” said student and protester Ridhuan Husaini.
Many of them carried Palestinian flags and signs in showing support for Iran’s leaders.
