A suspect was caught running down the street with a giant swan tucked under his arm. He then stuffed the bird into the back seat of a getaway car with his friends. The four friends laughed as they took off. Stephanie Santiago witnessed the swan-napping. Swans are known for being territorial and making loud noises when a human gets too close, but the snatched swan is a species known as a mute swan, which are quieter. A local resident spotted the suspects and called the police.
