Israeli report claims soldiers ordered to shoot at unarmed civilians in Gaza | BBC News

An Israeli newspaper report saying that soldiers were ordered to shoot at unarmed civilians waiting for food aid in Gaza has been strongly rejected by Israel’s Prime Minister.

The head of the organisation distributing aid has denied that hundreds of deaths from shootings are linked to its collection points. Johnnie Moore, from the US and Israel-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, told the BBC that international agencies, including the United Nations, are spreading disinformation.

Reeta Chakrabarti presents BBC News at Ten reporting from Lucy Williamson in Jerusalem.
