"Well, film culture is incredibly important around the world, so it’s one of the few things that you can go anywhere in the world and you know who the Terminator is, Harry Potter. So they’re like. It’s different than like a baseball team from America or a soccer team from Spain that are more regional. They might have a global fan base, but not to the extent that film does. It touches every part of our society, how we dress, who we aspire to be."

"It’s interesting how like generationally things change. So like there was a time where Humphrey Bogart and Gene Harlow and Laurel and Hardy and Rudolf Valentino, oh my god, the best, right? Who are those people? So now it’s like you’re looking at ‘Ferris Bueller’ and you’re look at, you know, ‘Back to the Future’ and like it’s, you now, ‘Aliens’ and like these movies have kind of replaced the greatness of the 50s and 30s and 40s of Hollywood. But again, it’s nostalgia-based. It’s what you grew up watching. So now everything from the 80s, everything from the 90s is so in vogue."

"Rosebud, the sled from "Citizen Kane." When Joe Dante called us and let us know it was available, no one knew it existed. This is something that like was a myth and discover a Rosebud or last year we sold the ruby slippers that Judy Garland wore in ‘The Wizard of Oz" for $32 million. So the whole importance of our hobby has changed and you’re just seeing that just people are, it’s, we’re in a different, what’s important has changed."

"Collecting is not a rich man’s game. Sure, everything, we look to the highest of everything or the worst of everything. It’s how our society works. But you can come into a hobby like this with a few hundred dollars or a few thousand dollars. And there’s amazing things. You can buy scripts, production art. So you can start anywhere. And it’s, as the more you learn about collecting, the more opportunities come up. You build a network of other collectors. You get offered things that might not have been coming to an auction house. So it’s a rewarding hobby and it’s just something that you take with you through your life."
