Australian Woman Found Guilty of Murder in Mushroom Poisoning Case

After a nine-week trial and six days of deliberations, Erin Patterson was found guilty of murdering three of her husband’s relatives by serving them poisonous mushrooms. During the 2023 incident, Patterson’s lunch guests included her parents-in-law, Don and Gail Patterson, and Gail’s sister, Heather Wilkinson. Heather Wilkinson’s husband, Ian Wilkinson, survived the poisoning. Patterson’s estranged husband was invited to the meal but didn’t attend. Inside Edition Digital has more.
