5 SOUNDBITE (English) Yulia Yanina, designer – on the collection:
"You know, I think it became very fashionable now to look back and I did the same because our fashion house is already more than 30 years, so we are very proud of our history. And I decided why we don’t repeat our iconic dresses? And I took idea, black and white, I took an idea of embroidery, our arabesque. So it reminds a different direction of culture, architectural, ballet, and many, many others. And we create new silhouette, new construction, the new techniques with embroidery. And finally, we got beautiful direction of embroidery, sculptural embroidery. And it’s really interesting because, you know, it’s like magic. You can imagine easily this piece in the museum. So that is why I’m dreaming to see my clients, my heroes, my Yanina girls, to wear this beautiful dress. And I am waiting this incredible feeling because it gives you power, right? Dress gives you power."

Russsian designer Yulia Yanina unveiled her new Fall/Winter collection, in Paris on Tuesday morning, showcasing bold, black and white pieces aimed to empower the women wearing them.
"It’s like magic. You can imagine easily this piece in the museum. So that is why I’m dreaming to see my clients, my heroes, my Yanina girls to wear this beautiful dress," said the designer before the presentation. "It gives you power. Dress gives you power."
Intricate patterns, daring see-through designs, and modern silhouettes stood out in the collection, in which Yanina revisited the arabesque – style characterized by entwined designs that create the effect of constant motion.
