Over the weekend, Donald Trump stepped up his trade war with the world by threatening 30 percent tariffs on Mexico and the European Union. That announcement was met with disbelief by EU negotiators, who thought a trade agreement was well on track. EU trade ministers met today to work out a response to a threat they described as "absolutely unacceptable".
