But until this happens, the military operation continues and the realities on the ground are changing every day."

"Well, we certainly welcome such direct dialogue. We have said repeatedly at different levels that we will welcome the earliest possible signing of a peace treaty. The signing of such a treaty that will become a very important factor in adding to the predictability, stability and peace of the region. We support this process and we support it fully."

STORYLINE:
The Kremlin insisted Thursday that the resumption of weapons deliveries between the United States and Ukraine and harsher rhetoric from President Donald Trump sides would not stall peace talks between Moscow and Kyiv.
"We are still waiting for a signal from Kyiv’s representatives as to their desire or unwillingness to enter into a third round of direct negotiations,” Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told journalists.
“We have always said that we would prefer to use peaceful political and diplomatic means. But until this happens, the military operation continues,” Peskov said.
Peskov also noted that the Kremlin welcomed talks between the two former Soviet republics of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"Well, we certainly welcome such direct dialogue," he said.
"We have said repeatedly at different levels that we will welcome the earliest possible signing of a peace treaty.
